Use:
For treating and stabilizing heavy used surfaces after oil application domestic and exotic woods, epoxy resin, leather, metal, plastic, stone… both indoors and outdoors.
WAX is a blend of tropical waxes and oils of varying hardness. Once applied to the surface, it creates a strong hydrophobic effect. It is 100% natural. The wax seals the pores on the surface and forms a hydrophobic protective layer. It is used as a final coating (ideally after applying The Mayan Oil DPO) for heavily stressed surfaces. For maximum protection, we recommend the HWA nano-ceramic layer. We apply in thin layers.
Wax application
Apply a small amount in a thin layer using a sponge or abrasive fleece onto the prepared surface and massage it into the wood (preferably with circular motions). Before wiping/polishing with a cotton cloth (or microfiber cloths, starting from grit P800), wait at least 40 minutes. Allow 2 days before use, and 5–7 days without contact with water. For maximum protection, we recommend the HWA nano-ceramic layer. After applying the nano-ceramic coating, the surface can be used after 2 days, but must remain without contact with water for at least 3–4 days.
